This course is a survey of the quantitative and qualitative techniques used by sociologists to analyze data and is based upon the theory of triangulation, which emphasizes the use of multiple analytic techniques to ensure valid findings as social phenomena are examined. Capstone participants are responsible for preparing and delivering a formal paper on a theme in sociology.
