Complete the Campus Campaign
The university's Complete the Campus Campaign, which ran from 2002 through 2006, was a tremendous success. The $13 million goal was exceeded by over $175,000, thanks to supportive volunteers and over 3,000 generous donors.
-
Of the more than $13 million that was raised, $3 million was used to create 55 new scholarships.
-
$6 million went to the unrestricted fund, which is used to strengthen existing programs.
-
The "Buy a Seat" fundraising effort helped to establish an endowment that will support scholarships for students studying the arts.
-
$2 million was used to enhance technology by equipping classrooms with multimedia units.
-
Funds were also used to improve and expand buildings and facilities, such as the Sport and Fitness Center and the Commons.
-
During the campaign, Pitt-Bradford also received the Bradford Seneca Building on Main Street, which was given as a donation in memory of Dr. Paul O. Keverline.
