Successful Graduates

Many, many of our adult learners have earned their degrees and gone on to have successful new careers and fulfilling lives. Here are just a couple of examples:

Ron Smith

Ron, who lives in the nearby community of Kane, completed his bachelor’s degree in history/political science and earned secondary teacher certification in social studies in April 2002. He is currently an eighth grade social studies teacher at Floyd C. Fretz Middle School in Bradford.

"Being 39 years old and going back to school after 22 years is a little scary. The people at Pitt-Bradford were very supportive and made the transition from factory work to college student very smooth.”

“Pitt-Bradford helped change my life more than anybody will ever understand.”  -- Ron Smith

Jeanne Miglicio

Jeanne, who is originally from Emporium, PA, completed a bachelor's degree in social sciences and is now a student at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Mich.

"I found the non-traditional experience to be much more rewarding than I had even anticipated it to be. I am going to miss Pitt-Bradford." -- Jeanne Miglicio
