Our Student Activities Council is our primary programming organization. The members of this group are responsible for planning and implementing a diverse schedule of activities -- from concerts to game shows to comedians.

Some of SAC's most popular events are Alumni & Family Weekend, Airband, Sibs & Kids Day and the Winter Week activities.

SAC also has regularly subsidized off-campus programs such as tickets to Pitt football games, culturally diverse metropolitan areas, and professional sporting games.

SAC is made up of all students who are interested in having a voice in what events and activities are being planned for campus entertainment. There is no election process to get involved. You only need to show up for weekly meetings and sponsored events.

There are 9 committees on SAC:

PUBLICITY - Provides promotion and advertising for SAC events, SAC meetings, and creates the calendars that are made available to all students for the semester’s events.

PUBLIC RELATIONS - Records SAC events by photography, videos, and autographs, maintains and updates the SAC webpage, creates a brochure for the fall semester, and promotes the SAC as a whole.

COMEDY - Contracts comedic acts, including entertainment such as stand up comics, improvisational groups, and ventriloquists events throughout the school year.
