It's that time of year again and the CDC recommends influenza vaccination as the first and most important step in protecting against the flu.   Flu shots are free if you have UPMC insurance (bring your card with you) and $10 if you don't have UPMC insurance. Students can use "shop dollars"

 In our Self-Care Center you can get what you need to help with:

  • a cold 
  • a cut 
  • a headache 
  • an upset stomach 

The self-care center is open whenever the Commons building is open and is located in Room 229 of the Frame-Westerberg Commons.

IN AN EMERGENCY 

If you have a health problem that needs immediate attention when the nurse is not available on campus, please contact Campus Police. Dial ext. 10333 on any campus phone or (814) 368-3211. Police officers are on duty 24 hours a day and will assist you in any emergency. Be sure to give your name and exact location as well as phone number.

For ambulance, dial 911 from an outside line.
