• It’s no secret that a college education is costly. We want to make it as affordable as possible, and one way to do that is to provide ample scholarships for our students. Nearly all of the students who apply for financial aid --98%-- receive some kind of assistance through scholarships, grants, loans, work study, or undergraduate research funds.  Endowed scholarships provide a means to help serve the needs of students and their families.

Over 200 endowed and annual donor scholarship funds provide an essential complement to other forms of financial aid. Scholarship awards help decrease the amount students would otherwise need to borrow. Over $593,000 was awarded in the 2016-17 academic year, helping to ease the financial burden for students at Pitt-Bradford.  The money from donor scholarships is truly a gift to our students at Pitt-Bradford and an investment in their future.

    Donor Scholarship Luncheon

Our annual Donor Scholarship Luncheon each year is an opportunity for students to meet the donors of their scholarships and in some cases a family member, friend, or representative of the donor. The luncheon allows students the opportunity to personally say “thank you” to donors for making a difference in their educational journey at Pitt-Bradford. For more information on establishing a scholarship, please contact the Office of Institutional Advancement.

  • “I would like to thank you for the generous donation to Pitt-Bradford and this scholarship. It is caring people like you who are helping to make dreams of students who might not have the opportunity to attend college as easily as others come true.”
