Federal Work Study for the current Academic Year
The Federal Work Study program provides part-time employment opportunities for eligible students typically at $7.25/hr. for up to 8 hours per week. Your award letter from our Financial Aid Office will indicate if you are eligible to participate in the program. An award of Federal Work Study does not guarantee a position. Positions are filled at the discretion of the supervisor. Information regarding Federal Work Study is emailed in early August with directions on how to use our online job application process. After the 1st day of classes, a list of available jobs will be posted on the door of the Financial Aid Office.
How you get paid
Paychecks and/or direct deposit advices for those students who live on-campus will be put in their student mailbox. All others will be available for pick-up in the Enrollment Services Office in the Hangar Building between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on payday and for two business days after. If picking up your check in Enrollment Services, student workers must show their student ID and sign for receipt of their check or direct deposit advice. Student workers will not be allowed to pick up another student’s paycheck or direct deposit advice without a signed note from that student. On the third business day following payday, checks and direct deposit advices will be mailed to the address on file.
