Federal Work Study for the 2009-2010 Academic Year
The majority of the FWS jobs have been filled at this time and the job listing database is no longer available. Please visit the office of financial aid, located in the Hangar Building, for a list of open positions.
The Federal Work Study program provides part-time employment opportunities for eligible students typically at $7.25/hr. for up to 8 hours per week. Your award letter from our Financial Aid Office will indicate if you are eligible to participate in the program.
How you get paid
All student paychecks and direct deposit advices will be distributed from the Enrollment Services Office in the Hangar Building between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on payday and for two business days after.
Student workers must show their student ID and sign for receipt of their check or direct deposit advice. Student workers will not be allowed to pick up another student’s paycheck or direct deposit advice without a signed note from that student.
On the third business day following payday, checks and direct deposit advices will be mailed to the address on file. This procedure provides a more secure distribution of student payroll.
