Dr. Klausner teaches a variety of sociology classes, including Intro to Sociology, Socialization, Organizational Behavior, Small Groups, Sociological Theory. "I love them all," he says. He has presented papers at sociological conferences and has received grants from the Faculty Development Committee here at Pitt-Bradford. Klausner has also been nominated for the Award for Teaching Excellence.
Dr. Klausner enjoys exercise with weights, aerobics, and yoga. He reads motivational books to help him be a better teacher and to inspire his students. When he's home in New York City, he is involved with New York Cares, where he tutors homeless children. If he weren't a professor, he would want to work where he could be of service to others: a counselor, a clinical psychologist, or even sales -- "anything that would allow me to share my ideas with other people and interact with the public."
