Academic Focus:
Dr. Haley teaches at all levels of the ASN program in both the clssroom and clinical setting. In addition, she teaches Physical Examination & Health Promotion and Community Health Nursing at the BSN level.
Short Bio:
Dr.Tammy Haley has been a member of the nursing faculty since 2003 and currently serves as the coordinator of the RN-BSN program. Prior to her faculty appointment she practiced as a nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in FAmily Practice/Women's Health. Tammy also has many years of clinical experience as an R.N. in the pediatric and med-surg areas. In addition to her faculty responsibilities, Tammy continues to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Bradford area.
Research, Accomplishments, and Publications:
Dr. Haley's current research focuses on the personal, environmental and behavioral factors that influence protective sexual behavior among rural high-school aged youth.
