Martha teaches in the ASN program. The courses that she teaches include: Mental Health Foundations, Mental Health Disorders, Psychosocial Coping, Psychological Safety, Client Teacher, Therapeutic Relationships, Communication, and The Nursing Process
Short Bio:
Martha joined the nursing faculty at Pitt-Bradford 2011 and serves as the Psychiatric Nurse Instructor. Prior to coming to Pitt-Bradford, Martha worked in a variety of settings and positions including the Mental Health Clinical Supervisor at the YWCA, Hospice Care Coordinator and Project Care Coordinator at VNA, and Mental Health Home Health Nurse at VNA. Her past psychiatric experiences include home health mental health nursing, hospice, in-patient hospital care, and out-patient mental health medication monitoring and recovery.
