Academic Focus:
Dr. Levey teaches courses in music literature, music theory, and musicology. He also directs and accompanies the Vocal Arts Ensemble, which performs regularly on campus. Dr. Levey is the current director of the Interdisciplinary Arts program.
Research, Accomplishments, and Publications:
Dr. Levey's research focuses on art music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, particularly serial and post-serial music. He has published in Music Analysis, and his compositions have been featured at the Aspen Music Festival, Bowdoin Music Festival, and Music07 Festival. He lives in Salamanca, NY.
