Professor Asinger has taught a variety of courses at Pitt Bradford including Personal Health and Wellness, Intro to Sports Medicine, Nutrition, Biomechanics, Human Biology and Anatomy and Physiology. “I truly enjoy helping students understand all aspects of the human body. Once they have a solid foundation, they can use this information in health careers and also in caring for their own health throughout their lifetime.”
Professor Asinger is also the Director of International Studies. She helps students who want to study abroad to fulfill their goals by finding a program that is right for them, giving scholarship information and by advising them through the process. She also welcomes and orientates our international students on campus as well as our international exchange faculty. "Studying abroad is a gift that you give yourself. Your experience abroad will become a part of who you are and will stay with you for your entire lifetime through choices that you make, how you see the world and how you live your life. Anyone can study abroad, just stop in and see me to learn about all of opportunities that are available."
Kristin grew up in Bradford and after being away for 25 years, came back to this beautiful area of the country. She has had the opportunity to teach in a variety of educational settings from Middle School to High School to the University level.
Kristin lives with her husband, two sons and two dogs. They have hosted several high school exchange students from all over the world. For fun, she enjoys travel, photography, acting, reading, cycling, walks and comedy improv. Kristin is the advisor for the comedy improv troupe "Pitt Improvers."
