Student Nurse Organization holding annual food drive 

Pitt-Bradford's Student Nurse Organization is collecting nonperishable food to distribute to less fortunate families in McKean County for Thanksgiving.

 

 
Restaurateur Mechel Thompson 

New York City restaurateur Mechel Thompson will visit Pitt-Bradford on Monday, Nov. 16, to speak to students of Dr. Philippe van Berten, assistant professor of business management and marketing. The public is welcome to attend.

 

 
ABCs of Green Building 

Pitt-Bradford is holding a course on “green” building for local commercial contractors, residential homebuilders, real-estate agents, bankers and interested members of the public.

 

 
Legalities of Small Business seminar 

Pitt-Bradford and the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce are teaming up on Tuesday, Nov. 10, to offer a seminar on the legalities of small-business ownership and operation.

 
'Choreographing a Spectacle' 

 Public relations specialist John Schlimm will demonstrate how to choreograph a spectacle with an event-planning workshop at Pitt-Bradford next week.

 

 
Executive speaker Tom Oreck 

Tom Oreck, president and CEO of Oreck Corp., will discuss Oreck’s management and service philosophies on Monday, Nov. 9, at the Pitt-Bradford as part of the university’s Executive Speaker Series.

 

 
Admissions open house 

Pitt-Bradford's  Office of Admissions  will hold an  open house  for prospective students and their families on Saturday, Nov. 7.

 
Halloween Fun Run-Walk 

 Pitt-Bradford's Sport and Recreation Management Club will hold a Fun Run/Walk on Halloween.

 

 
Buying and selling on eBay 

Two Web marketing professionals will lead a two-part workshop on selling and buying items on eBay on Oct. 28 and Nov. 4 at the Community Education Council building in St. Marys.

 

 
Koresh master class 

 Koresh Dance Company  assistant artistic director Melissa Rector will teach a master class for area dancers prior to the company’s performance at Pitt-Bradford on Monday, Nov. 2.
