We don't like to brag. Well, OK, we like to just a little. But our campus has received several awards and accolades in the past few years.
In January 2013, we were named one of the
best 10 regional campuses in the United States by college research website
We were named as a College of Distinction for engaging our students, having great teachers, providing a vibrant community and graduating students who go on to have successful careers and satisfying lives.
In 2011, U.S.News & World Report ranked us in the
top tier of the region and in 2010 and 2008 named us one of the
Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the North.
We were recognized, in part, because of our small classes and our student-to-faculty ratio.
The Princeton Review has named us one of the Best Colleges in the Northeast for the 13th consecutive year, they have also recognized us as one of the Best 115 Colleges in the Mid-Atlantic in 2005. The Princeton Review bases its ratings on several factors, including comments by students. This year, one student said: "Pitt-Bradford offers small classes with individualized attention, professors who are always available, and a generally student-friendly atmosphere."Other students emphasized the friendliness of students with these comments:
For the eighth year in a row, Pitt-Bradford has been named a
Military Friendly School by G.I. Jobs magazine. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s veterans as students.
