The Academic Development Center provides comprehensive academic assistance to all Pitt-Bradford students free of charge. Services include peer tutoring in math, writing, chemistry, physics, biology, economics, accounting, and computer science as well as computer-aided instruction in algebra and speed reading. Students may also receive academic counseling, time management suggestions, and help in study skill development.

The Office of Career Services offers a vocational interest testing service as well as individual and group career counseling. SIGI Plus, a computer-based guidance system, is available to help students explore career options. Assistance in selecting an academic major or minor is also available.

Students who would like to discuss any personal concern or problem they may be having are encouraged to see either the Director of Counseling Services or the Dean of Student Affairs. There is no charge for this service and complete confidentiality is maintained. Students wishing to seek services off-campus may be referred to one of the professionals at the Guidance Center, located on Campus Drive. Students are encouraged to seek a referral from a member of the student affairs staff; however, students may contact the Guidance Center directly.
Drug & Alcohol
Students dealing with substance abuse problems may contact any member of the student affairs staff and they will be referred to the appropriate agency. There are several local agencies that are equipped to deal with substance abuse issues:
