The Sports Information Director (SID) works closely with the media, coaches, and athletes in order to provide accurate coverage and public recognition for athletes and athletic programs. In addition, the SID:

1. Produces brochures highlighting each sport for recruiting and media needs.

2. Prepares timely press releases for newspapers, television, and radio.

3. Informs the student-athletes' hometown papers of athletic achievement.

4. Maintains photo files of all athletes, along with the Public Relations office.

5. Keep statistics and complete records of all University of Pittsburgh at Bradford athletic performance. 6. Reports team and individual results of contests to the NCAA and AMCC.

Student-athletes are encouraged to visit the Sports Information Office at the beginning of each season to establish a working file. In addition, periodic visits to the SID are encouraged to keep files current.
