Swim 2009-10 Season Preview
Loading...

The 2009-10 Pitt-Bradford swim team looks forward to the season at the possibility of being the most successful in the history of the program.

Last year's team was able to set 64 school records through the course of the season, so the bar is set very high for this year's squads.

Returning captain and school record-holder Anne Morgan is joined this season by the AMCC's reigning Female Swimmer of the Year and co-captain Morgan Kinville. The women's team will benefit greatly from the experience of returning school record -holders Rachel Davis and Rebecca Carlson. Newcomers to the women's team include Allison Beyerl, Sarah Mihalko, Melinda Mackenzie, Kristen Spanganberg, Erika Davis, Beth Ditty, Mary Gross, and Nikki Tafuri. These athletes will be instrumental in rewriting the record board again this season.

On the men's side, returning captain and 2008-09 AMCC Swimmer of the Year Cameron Lanich is joined by co-captain Drew Shaffer.

This season's stronger men's team will be built on the foundation of returning members Jacob DeVolder, Eric Greenawalt, Roland Cross, and Joseph Kelly. New members of the men's team include David Taylor, Matt Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Jack Urmann, Dustin King, and Lee Atkins. These new athletes, combined with our returning men, are set up to take the program to a whole new level.

Head Coach Ed Bahan says that this year's athletes are working harder, swimming faster, and are more committed than any group of swimmers Pitt-Bradford has ever had. The sky is the limit as to what both of
these teams can accomplish this season.
