Sport and Recreation Management - BS

Program Contact: Dr. Keary J. Rouff

Do you love sports? Do you want to do more than just watch them on TV? Would you like to work in the field? A major in sport and recreation management will give you that chance.

On our campus, you’ll customize your program. Yes, there will be courses you’ll be required to take. But then, you can pick a minor or concentration that will match what you want to do after graduation. You’ll also learn by doing. Get great experience on an internship. That will look great on a resume.

With your degree, you’ll have lots of career opportunities to choose from. Work for a sports team. Be a sports information director at a college or university. Work in sports media or sports law. Manage recreational programs for national or state forests. Head a fitness center. Or, take what you know and go to graduate school.

What you can do with a degree in Sport and Recreation Management. Suggested 4-year plan of study.
