Has gym or health class always been your favorite? Would you like to lead your own health or gym class one day? Our health and physical education major will help you get there.
In our program, you'll study education - of course. But you'll also learn about psychology, nutrition, personal health and wellness, and living well. You can play on one of our 15 sports teams. Or help out with one of them. And, you'll be on a campus that is surrounded by physical-fitness opportunities. You can hike. Bike. Run. Ski.
With your degree and your teaching certification, you'll have many career choices. Teach at an elementary or secondary school. Coach a team. Be a personal trainer. Or, you could teach young people who have physical challenges
What you can do with a degree in Health and Physical Education. Suggested 4-year plan of study.
