RESNET
RESNET is your ticket to the information highway from the comfort of your dormitory. The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, in recognition of the many benefits and advantages of computer networks, has outfitted all residence hall accommodations with computer network ports. And the best news is that all this is at rocket ship speeds. So hook up and blast off.
These ports allow students to directly access various computing services from the comfort and convenience of their own room. Students are able to communicate with fellow students and faculty members using electronic mail, engage in real-time, on-line discussions with other Internet users and do research using the University's library resources as well as the Internet's World Wide Web.
